Q4 Language Tool/Website Optimization

Goals: Improve UE. Improve User Retention of FF users from outside the US, FF users that do not speak English, FF users that are not technology savvy.

Improve the Visibility of Language tools on the Home Page. 
•	The existing link to the http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html page from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/ is very small (under the green download button) and very difficult to find. 
•	Localized Mozilla home pages do not have this link. I want to create another button for the homepage that says something to the effect of "Download Firefox in another language”. 

Localize the http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html page
•	This page has never been localized by any locale. It should be localized by every locale that has and will have FF3 compatible language tool. 

Optimize the http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html page
•	Define “Language Pack”.
o	Explain how to download a Language Pack.
•	Define “Localized version of Firefox.”
o	Explain how to download a localized version of Firefox. 
•	Create a a dynamic way for the website to serve the right FF3 download per the user’s OS .
•	Create a dynamic way for the website to serve the user every likely language option based on IP address. 
o	Deliver relevant languages per locale.
o	Deliver relevant versions of languages. (Spanish speakers could be served FF3 versions from Spain, Mexico and Argentina). 
•	Link to other Add-Ons and AMO website. 

Create a Mozilla.com hosted, localized, FF3 landing page for every locale that does not already have one.
•	Page would look like the current home page with more introductory text introducing Firefox and its features.
•	Include more language specific search terms in text to improve SEO for these landing pages (like navegador, which is Spanish for browser).
•	Launch Adwords program for each locale. 
o	Localizers translate four top performing text ads for Google Search network. 
•	Affects 37 current Languages:  Afrikaans, Albanian, Arabic, Belarusian, Bengali, Czech, Estonian, Frisian, Galician, Georgian, Gujarati, Hindi, Icelandic, Indonesian, Kannada, Kurdish, Macedonian, Marathi, Mongolian, Occitan, Persian, Punjabi, Serbian, Sinhala, Slovak, Slovenian, Argentine/Mexican Spanish, Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Ukranian, Valencian, Venda, Vietnamese, Zapoteco

i am going to break up this goal into little bugs so we don't go crazy trying to keep up.
