The ability to add a "new tab" widget, wherever the user wants, seems to have been removed and replaced with an immovable(sans an extension or userChrome) new tab on the far right.

Not only that but the immovable new tab button is as far away from where people enter urls or open bookmarks as possible. This makes it difficult to use. If I want to open a few tabs from my bookmarks I have to go all the way to the right of the screen, back to the bookmarks menu, and then back all the way across the screen.

Please give the power back to the user to customize this widget.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open view>toolbars>customize
2. Look for new tab widget
3. It's gone.
