I would like to see merged view in Thunderbird.

what is it?

currently TB displays: mails and preview of one selected.

that's IMO bad. great idea is to merge them. such view is used by Brief RSS reader (Firefox) extension. it's very comfortable.

near every title of article is an "(un)read button", depending on unread status and "remove".

without clicking each message, you see the content.
