We need a testing platform for the upcoming changes to Socorro database

It should have Postgresql 8.3 along with a a full compliment of data in the database - so we can test the timing of the migration script.

It also needs to allow direct access by the developers

I think only "similar to".  

My need is to test the schema migration script on a database instance that is about the same size as the current production database. We need to get a good estimate how long the migration will take, because when we do it on production, we cannot be processing new reports at the same time.  Since a migration is a destructive process, we need to make sure that it works perfectly before we apply it to the production database.  As such, I may have to migrate/restore more than just once.

The 427857 bug can use the same machine/database, but we'd need to coordinate.  That requires some stability in the data while my testing guarantees not having stability in the data.

I've already spoken with aravind about my needs and he apparently has a plan.
