Details

Mossop has discovered that the install of his TabSidebar extension makes DOM queries faster than in a profile without the extension, so there is probably potential for better performance.

Closing as this hasn't been looked at in nine years, the extension model changed, and we have made many performance enhancements since. Apologies this got never looked at earlier.
