User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092510 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092510 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.3 I visit a website http:/www.example.com and select an alternative style sheet (View -> Page Style). But every time I visit another page on that site during that session, I have to manually select the alternative style sheet. It would be nice to have an option for Firefox to remember alternative style sheet preferences for a site. A dialog could have the following options: Remember alternative style sheet selections [ ] Never (default) [ ] This session only [ ] Always for [ ] this page (default) [ ] the domain name Only issues I can see would be if somebody wants to remember selections for multiple machines in a domain (e.g. www1.example.com and www2.example.com), but this is minor. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Visit a site with alternative style sheets 2. Select an alternative one 3. Go to another page on that site

Severity: normal → enhancement
This request can be divided into two parts: #1: Remember the selection across sessions. This part appears to be a duplicate of bug 216537. #2: Use this selection for other pages on the same site. Bug 83663 discusses remembering the selected alternative style sheet when following links within a site, which is a subset of #2.
