RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 400083

Details

Right now, we do not build nightly debug builds of Firefox through Tinderbox. All debug builds have to be done by hand. This is an ongoing issue for QA (if not other groups) as there are bugs that come up during releases, especially security and stability, that need a debug build to reproduce. This requires someone in QA to set up a build environment and go through the process of handrolling a build rather than simply referring to a nightly debug build. Additionally, since we don't have archived nightly builds, we have no history for narrowing down regression ranges in these problems.

Dan Veditz, Sam, and I were discussing this yesterday and Dan believes that we don't do these builds because of resource constraints from the past. Since we are not as constrained in the number of machines building, we should revisit this issue and, ideally, begin making debug nightly builds.

Though, this might be a dupe of bug 367775. Either way, reopen one of those. :)
I hate these BS games with bugs. Fine, I'll go open the one from a YEAR ago and we'll see if it is summarily "won't fix"'ed again.
