Hi Gozer,

Would you mind running the update database script (only the first
account user can run this script) and taking a quick look at the HTTP request status error.

database updated no problems.
Looks like drupal tests its ability to make http requests by trying to hit itself, not over loopback or anything like that, but rather by using the hostname the client sent along, silly.

Fixed for now with /etc/hosts hackery.
