User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092417 Firefox/3.0.3 Whenever an item is typed into let’s say the Google search engine, it’d be nice if the browser can remember what I typed. This is so that in future when I want to look up the same thing again, all I have to do is type out the first letter of the word I’m looking for and a whole list pops up and I can scroll down and choose the item I am searching for. I believe this would be much easier if I wanted to go back and search for something I have previously searched for instead of having to type the whole word/phrase again Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: Make it possible for the browser to remember words/phrases previously entered in search bar and forms

Hmm... Is this a bug about Firefox or SeaMonkey? If the latter, pàlease paste the long line (or two) found after "Build Identifier" at the bottom of the about: (or Help => About SeaMonkey) page. Please also check the "Privacy and Security" preferences, to see if you aren't wiping out the search history at closedown.

(2+ months later) No reply from reporter R.Incomplete Reopen if you can reproduce with SeaMonkey v2.0a2 or 2.0a3pre ? (2.0a2 and 2.0a3pre versions aren't stable enough for everyone's daily use yet).
