I'm using Firefox 3.0.4. When I go to configuring of one of my TLD .bg domains, there is a choice to login with client certificate. I don't use client certificate but when I accidently activated that choice, a criptic message with error code ssl_error_handshake_failure_alert appears. When IE is used, a nice dialog for choosing client certificate is shown (in my case the list of certificates is empty).

In this bug, I'm submitting wishlist for nicer handling of this particular use case: when server requires client certificate and there is no matching with user's certificates. ssl_error_handshake_failure_alert is too general.
This is not an NSS issue. This is a request for a browser UI change.
