If my browser window is about half size, there is no room to enter properly in the location bar.  

It must be possible to have a smaller identity signature?

I actually doubt that... The screen real estate thing is a browser bug, not AMO, and I would assume it's intentional. Extended Validation Certificates are supposed to be displayed significantly different from regular SSL certs, otherwise you wouldn't need them.

If you want, I can push this over into the browser product for you, otherwise for AMO it's invalid.
