I've only seen this a handful of times, but NYT pages seem to be more common. You may want to downgrade the priority because refreshing fixes the problem. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. I have the cooliris plugin installed... don't know if that matters.

Actually it isn't just the images on one page which are corrupted. Many images on several pages within different opened tabs are corrupted.

I would pass this off to your resident image retrieval/caching/rendering expert.

This seems like a video driver/video card issue. Just to be sure, can you try this in safe mode: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode and with a new profile: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile

I have the same issue, maybe 1-3 times per month. It only affects Gecko applications. This machine has an ATI Radeon mobile 9600/9700.
