When opening new tab using (Ctrl + T) I can't enter the new address directly, I have to click the bar using mouse and then enter the address. Also, if I return to old tab I have also to click on the same page if I want to enter a text on it (i.e login page)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open FireFox
2.New Tab (ctrl + T)
3.Can't type new address in the bar directly
Actual Results:  
Can't type new address in the bar directly

Expected Results:  
it's really annoying, specially those who are familiar of using keyboard. Expected that I don't need to use the mouse any more when I'm browsing.

Focusing locationbar works fine for me after opening a new tab.
Please retest in safe-mode to exclude bugs in add-ons.

This is a mass search for bugs which are in the Firefox General component, are
UNCO, have not been changed for 500 days and have an unspecified version. 

Reporter, can you please update to Firefox 3.6.10 or later, create a fresh profile, http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/managing+profiles, and test again. If you still see the issue, please update this bug. If the issue is gone, please set the status to RESOLVED > WORKSFORME.

No reply from reporter, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.12 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
