I have a signature with the same paragraph translated both in French and in English.

I have put "lang" attribute in order to specify the language used in the paragraph

The check spelling doesn't use the correct language to check signature and, so, stop on each word

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a multilingual signature using "lang" html attribute
2. Create a new message
3. Check spell
Actual Results:
The check spelling doesn't use the correct language to check signature and, so, stop on each word

Expected Results:
The check spelling use the correct language according to lang attribute
The "lang" problem is different, but fixing Bug 223440 would fix this.

Bug 223440 doesn't seem to be the same.
In my signature I have :

<div lang="fr-fr">Some text in French</div>
<div lang="en-us">Some text in English</div>

If I use French dictionary, English text is underlined (indicated as a spell check error), on the other hand, if I use english dictionary, French text is underlined.
Yes, that's why I said the bug was *different*.

Bug 223440 would be a useful workaround.
This can be the entry point for a new feature : compose a multilingual message.
The two bugs might be related (or not). Fix that will ask lot of work so I let you decide this report future.
