Inbox view with 2008115 always sorts by sender in descending order when opening, but before would open sorted by date in ascending order if closed that way.

I leave my inbox view at Unread, sorted by date, with oldest on top. I used to be able to set this and close TB, and it would reopen with the sort it had when closed. Now, the inbox always opens sorted by sender, with Z on top. Any way to lock the sort setting?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open thunderbird inbox with view at Unread with unread messages.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
I checked all the menus for Options, but could not find a setting to resolve this.

Open the inbox with whatever sort existed at the time Thunderbird closed.
Seems to work fine over here.
Could an extension be causing it? (Try thunderbird.exe -safe-mode)
After reflection, I noticed that my problem came only after upgrading to Firefox 3.04. As I opened Thunderbird to see your message above, the problem re-occurred. However the safe mode experiment gave the correct behavior, and when I went back to normal Thunderbird, it now works as it did before. It's a phenomenon. Thanks for your help.
