Firefox supports several emacs-like shortcuts, e.g. Ctrl-a to move to the beginning of the line, Ctrl-e for end of line, etc.

When the find bar at the bottom is open, Ctrl-a does "Highlight all" instead. This is very annoying when you're used to navigate text fields and the address bar with Ctrl-a and Ctrl-e.

The alternative is ⌘-Left and ⌘-Right, but I feel emacs shortcuts should either be supported or not, and not "sometimes".

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open find bar (type something for illustration).
2. Go to address bar and type Ctrl-a.

I agree. But I'm not sure this is a bug of find toolbar or key event handling. Where is handling Ctrl-a on Mac when find toolbar doesn't have focus?

Would it be OK to just move "Highlight all" to Shift-Ctrl-A?
