my firefox tell me he download the newer version of firefox (3.0.5) and when i click to apply update and finsh to update my firefox 3.0.5 doent opens

Can you try opening firefox in safe mode http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode . Over to Toolkit->Application Update for now.

note: the gecko ver is off by one from the app version.

the point was the reporter's user agent states they are using Gecko 1.9.0.4 anf Firefox 3.0.5

Reporter, inside of your Firefox installation directory (usually c:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) there is a file named application.ini. Could you please attach it to this bug using the "Add an attachment" link above?

That email gets a ton of spam and deletes it which is why my display name on bugzilla states do not email... please attach it this bug by using the "Add an attachment" link above.
