User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5 The update function in FireFox (and Thunderbird) follow this process: 1: There are update. Do you want to update? [YEs] [No] 2: Yes => Updating 3: After Update: "All updates installed" [Ok] Step 3 seems pretty useless to me.. The obvious behavior should be: 1: (as above) 2: (as above) 3: If errors during install: Show them. If not: Continue Alternative should be to put a drop down in step 1 saying something like: "Do you want to see the log after installation? "No", "Only if there were errors", "Always" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: see description Actual Results: see description Expected Results: see description
