I am not going to read this, sorry. I'm only the user. The bug is easy to reproduce. Just take the newest Firefox (3.0.6), the newest Flash 10.0.15.3 under GNU/Linux and try to enlarge resolution while playing some clip on the YouTube. I'm sure your Firefox will crash.
Sorry but we need the help from the reporters and a stacktrace or crash ID is for example needed.
For a crash ID from an original Mozilla.org build you can use
http://developer.mozilla.org/En/How_to_get_a_stacktrace_for_a_bug_report

And Tyler and I'm also just a user and nothing more.
The most common mistake made by people reporting bugs is to assume that everyone else is always getting the same thing they are. They're not. ;)

Quick test using your limited STR: Kubuntu 8.04 + Firefox 3.0.6 or 3.1b3pre + Flash 10.0.15.3 -> tried full screen button, tried "watch in HD" link, tried full screen with HD. No crashes. (performance is bad, granted, but it's stable)

Please post stack trace as per comment 3 and we'll point it towards Adobe.
