Point is that the URL when opened in IE7 shows HTTP error 403 forbidden. But in Minefield 20090312 it shows totally blank - no error is shown and I checked all the Tools>Options if my settings are causing this behavior. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to URL 2. Blank page appears 3. Open IE and input same URL 4. IE shows 403 forbidden error Actual Results: Nothing! Blank screen Expected Results: Show the actual error

HTTP Status Code: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden Date: Fri, 13 Mar 2009 18:11:26 GMT Server: Apache Vary: Accept-Encoding Content-Length: 1 Connection: close Content-Type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1 Content (0.00 KiB) Mozilla shows the 403 error message provided by the server and the error message is 1 byte long. The 1 byte long case is different as bug 442255

Im going to say that rendering the 1 byte is the right thing to do
