When dragging and dropping a history item from the History SideBar and/or Library to any Bookmarks standard point (menu, library, toolbar, etc), the  item is not saved onto it and the following error shows up in the Error Console. This works fine on the latest 3.0 build and on OS X (on the same build).

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the History Sidebar or go to Show All History in the Library
2. Open the Error Console.
3. Drag and Drop a History item to any Bookmarks standard point (toolbar or menu).

Expected Results: 
There should be no JS exception and the history item should be added to the bookmarks standard point.

i can't reproduce this... could you try again or provide further informations to reproduce?
Is this Linux only?

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".

In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body   contains   places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.

Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
