I just noticed that it's taking about 30 seconds to a minute to post any posts in forum threads.  It was much much faster last week... did we do something?  Can we fix it?
AFIK, it shouldn't be a code change since we haven't had a push to prod in about three weeks.

Or is this something on staging?

Maybe it has to do with bug 481283? That's a change I made for validation, that shouldn't occur on replies though.
bug 481293 hasn't been pushed yet, so it can't be that anyway.

Maybe IT can help tell us if it's a query causing a problem or not.
