Details

To see this:

1. Launch apprunner on the Mac.
2. Move the mouse cursor over the Composer icon in the lower right hand corner
(the one that looks like a fountain pen).
3. Watch as the window resizes itself.

If you're viewing a page that's long (eg macintouch.com) garbage will also be
drawn in the small bit directly above between the arrow icons for the
scrollbars.

This sounds like an Event Handler thing.

This is the result of something being done by the button renderer in response
to a NS_MOUSE_ENTER event.  Eric, I think that's your stuff.
