In testing on mac os x 10.5 and 3.0.11 on a da build, I found that the "know your rights" button upon first launch is not translated as well as the page about:rights. This is what I see (all english):
About Your Rights

Mozilla Firefox is free and open source software, built by a community of thousands from all over the world. There are a few things you should know:

    * Firefox is made available to you under the terms of the Mozilla Public License. This means you may use, copy and distribute Firefox to others. You are also welcome to modify the source code of Firefox as you want to meet your needs. The Mozilla Public License also gives you the right to distribute your modified versions.

    * Mozilla does not grant you any rights to the Mozilla and Firefox trademarks or logos. Additional information on Trademarks may be found here.

    * Privacy policies for Mozilla's products may be found here.

    * Firefox also offers optional web site information services, such as the SafeBrowsing service; however, we cannot guarantee they are 100% accurate or error-free. More details, including information on how to disable the services, can be found in the service terms.

I wasn't aware that the "Know your rights" would be implemented on Firefox 3.0.x

"Know your rights" is localized from Firefox 3.5 onward though ->
http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/l10n-mozilla-1.9.1/da/file/4195f4ae5759/browser/chrome/browser/aboutRights.dtd
We backported it for 3.0.5. Axel: Any reason da didn't get backported fully?
Perhaps we didn't had it done on 1.9.1-branch before the backport happened ?

I just noticed bug 466809, where Axel asks us to get it ready for Firefox 3.0.5 - but it's gone under my radar... So perhaps that's the reason that it's not in the 3.0.x lot....

I've noticed that the aboutRights.dtd also exists localized in l10n-central - and have been for some time - so what repo have the files for Firefox 3.0.11 been pulled from ?
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
3.0.x files are in CVS. I think it's just cvs.mozilla.org, but Axel would know (I know he's out for a couple days though).

http://bonsai-l10n.mozilla.org/cvsqueryform.cgi shows the checkins for that repository.
Hi...

Is this relevant to follow up on, or should we close this bug ?

Resolving WORSFORME, we're not offering downloads of 3.0.x anymore, and by default you only get about:rights on a new profile, IIRC.
