495484 - After collapse all with non-thread-initial message selected, selection is lost

STRs:

 expand all threads ("*")
 select a message inside a thread (not the first one)
 collapse all threads ("\")

Result: 

 there is no selection

Expected: 

 the thread that the message was in is selected.

Bonus points for selecting all of the threads that had messages selected prior to collapsing.

Suspicion:

 nsMsgDBView::CollapseByIndex

do others also see this...  that it happens no matter which message is selected, eg including root message, and no matter how the thread is collapsed, eg clicking thread icon.  

do any of these correlate?
