I am using hacked synaptics driver v10.2.4 (18Jan08) that supports ChiralMotion scrolling.
Normal VirtualScrolling (moving a finger near the right edge of touchpad) works fine, but when I enable ChiralMotion scrolling I can't scroll in Firefox anymore. Other apps still work fine.

This problem also apeears on another laptop with Win Vista and the same driver and the same version of Firefox. The same problem with Firefox 3.0.6.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open touchpad config
2. Enable ChiralMotion scrolling
Actual Results:
Scrolling in Firefox doesn't work.

Expected Results:
It should work.

I tried disabling all extensions but it didn't help (browsers in Vista didn't have any extensions at all).

Oh, I should have said that scrolling works fine through RDP. Seems that RDP understands the driver and sends normal scroll events to Firefox on the other side.

As they say, scrolling works just fine when flash is focused (not only flash but the whole page scrolls!!).
Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode or a fresh profile? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

o_0.
No chance to reproduce that environment — it's been 1.5 years!

(pssst… chiral scrolling works fine with latest driver and Win7x64… but the cursor looks really strange [not like in other apps])
I wouldn't say it's fixed, but well… closing it.
