I just noticed I could install experimental add-ons without log-in if JavaScript was enabled. It's annoying!

That's true, you can install them with JS enabled. As you opt into a reduced experience when disabling JavaScript, this enhancement is bordering on WONTFIX, but I'll keep it open for now, in case somebody wants to write a patch.

It's easy to improve the experience, right? Please do not treat noscripters as second-class citizen. As a web developer, I always put noscripters experience into my mind.

I would consider a patch that provides an equal experience to what JS-enabled users go through, but we're not ready to make experimental add-ons completely open to anyone, including people with JS disabled.

It's a bit ironic that someone would be so concerned about security to disable JS yet want completely unreviewed extensions to be so easy to install.
