Investigate if bug 390734 had influence on the appearance of Lightning's/Sunbird's preference dialogs. Bug 483327, bug 480898, bug 483187, and bug 484013 show as how this affected Firefox.

I've tested this on a windows 7 machine and couldn't find any groupboxes that cause problems. Note I've tested on comm-1.9.2 since trunk windows (still) crashes on me.
