Details

Bug 499972 allowed release candidates that identify themselves as FF3.5 to pass through Socorro at a rate of 100%. This configuration change must be rescinded before the release of FF3.5.

The timing of taking action must be coordinated with QA and the devs.

This bug should be a blocker on the release of FF3.5.

To accomplish this task:
* in the file collectorconfig.py, delete the line:
  ("Version", "3.5", 100), # pass 100% of Version 3.5
* stop and restart the collectors

reminder - this MUST be done before FF3.5 is released. If I knew how to make it a blocker for 3.5, I would...
Can we actually scale it back to 50%, instead of the normal 15%, for the first few days? Want to err on the side of over-collecting here.
depending on the uptake of FF35, we may not have the disk space to support setting it to such a high threshold. Aravind is the best judge of that.
We are throttling it down to 50% per Beltzner's request. Will crank it down somemore if disk starts disappearing fast.

Beltzner, is it okay to remove the custom rule and throttle things down to 15% like the rest of the releases/versions?
Spoke with Beltzner, removing the custom rule.
