Details
Currently indexing is done every 20 mins in AMO.Waiting 20 mins to see a change take place(adding a tag,updating an add-on) is not good for the general health and well-being of our users.Please consider running them in shorter intervals(5 mins?)

I don't know how long the query is taking right now, but 5 min sounds reasonable to me. Krupa is talking about preview.amo but we'd need to change the job on AMO too. it's the update_search_index one. I'll probably mid-air reed on changing this to an IT bug so I won't bother. :)
