The correct spelling of the word תווים is with two waw's. I've seen it spelled in Firefox as תוים with one waw. This is a common mistake, but the correct spelling according to the Academy's rules is with two waw's.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
It appears for example in תצוגה->קידוד תוים.
Actual Results:
Written קידוד תוים

Expected Results:
Should be קידוד תווים

Most likely all appearances of תוים should be replaced to תווים.
this probably dates back to Mozilla Application Suite. i used to use כתיב חסר when there was no confusion on how to read the word, like in this case.
Like Dan and Nadav, i'm a fan of the consistent spelling suggested by the Academy :)
