As per bug 448686 comment 13, we should make the "original" column appear as plain text rather than inputs, or at the very least disabled inputs (but those typically don't look appealing).
I should mention that there is no point in having them be editable, as changing them doesn't actually work.

My proposal is to make them show up simply as plain text, perhaps highlighted in some way. David, Cheng: your input is greatly appreciated :)
