I experienced this bug on www.theoildrum.com. The Drumbeat feature contains articles with comments on them by users. Users can reply to other users' comments and this 'thread' can be collapsed by clicking a minus sign in the corner of the first comment. If a comment contains a link to another website and you follow it and then return to the dialogue Firefox expands all the threads you have collapsed, meaning that you have to collapse them again or scroll down to where you were before, which is quite time consuming.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the comments on a Drumbeat at the site.
2. Collapse the first thread.
3. Follow the first link (to a website, not a pdf) and then return using the left arrow.
Actual Results:
Firefox expands the collapsed thread.

Expected Results:
It should keep it collapsed.
