User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 GTB5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.5; en-US; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090729 Firefox/3.5.2 GTB5

Immediately after upgrading to 3.5.2, my cursor started to show a blank box under it every time I stopped moving the cursor for a few seconds, no matter where on the page I am. If I happen to be over an image that should have alt text, the text won't render, but instead I get the exact same little, empty box.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download newest FireFox upgrade.
2. Stop your cursor anywhere on the page.
3. Notice the empty box underneath it.
Actual Results:
Exactly what I described.

Expected Results:
There should be no little box normally, and alt text for images that have it.

This issue happens no matter what theme I'm currently using (your default one at the moment).
An alt Text is never displayed as tooltip, only title tags are.
Do you have the google toolbar installed ?
It's known tha tthis addon is causing this issue for some people and upgrading the toolbar from google may help.

If not run Firefox in the Firefox safemode :
