Currently all executables and shared libraries are linked against libasound (on Linux when MOZ_SYDNEYAUDIO), but only the object containing sydneyaudio needs libasound. This is probably not a big issue, but patterns in configure.in tend to get copied, so it's easier to touch up before it gets copied.
