Not sure exactly where to file this... while cjones is in CA next week, we want to create a Google-tech-talk style video about IPDL. Chris will be doing this talk live at 4PM Wednesday (26-August). It would be fine to record it then, or separately if that's necessary. What's important is that we get him and the slides and good audio quality in a form that we can post publicly... I'm not sure whether this means two cameras like they do at Google, or maybe static slide screenshots edited in afterwards.

(I'm happy to do the editing, although I don't think I have the software/equipment to do it).

Per Ben:

"Asa recorded it... I don't actually know where it will be posted publicly.
Should the bug be assigned to him?"

I have the footage. Unfortunately it didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, someone had changed the configuration on my cabling and so the quality isn't what I'd hoped. Not a disaster, just not as clear as I'd hoped. I'll get it posted today and drop the URL here.
So, here's what happened. Someone changed some cables around on the camera I used and so we had only left-side audio and the video was going over a very bad analog cable so came out horribly noisy. Noise gets encoded and makes huge files. Lowering the quality further would have made it completely unreadable.

I've uploaded the video in QuickTime and Ogg, both titled chrisjones-full and they can be found at http://videos.mozilla.org/serv/air_mozilla/

Sorry for making a bit of a mess of this one. I should have looked the camera over better.
Looks good enough to me! I'll blog this. Can we assume that URL is stable for the videos, or should we copy them to permanent storage somewhere?
