A Google Chrome user reported that he could not easily navigate to "sauny.cr" (crbug.com/19808). This is because the eTLD data shows the rule for .cr as "*.cr". Checking Wikipedia indicated that second-level domains within .cr are now available (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.cr). Checking the registrar showed the same list as Wikipedia (http://www.nic.cr/niccr_publico/showMain.do). We should match Wikipedia and the registrar and change to: cr ac.cr co.cr ed.cr fi.cr go.cr or.cr sa.cr Patch to do this attached.

An identical version of this has now landed for the Chromium copy of this file: http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome?view=rev&revision=24523

Comment on attachment 396825 [details] [diff] [review] patch v1 r=gerv. The list on the website doesn't change anything, because it doesn't tell us whether you can register arbitrary.cr. However, the sauny.cr example proves there's at least one such site, so this loosening seems sensible. Gerv
