Was sind eure Meinungen dazu?
Beides Mal OK :)

Hi. I just want to check whether there's anything I can do to help and to tell you that soon we will have the web pages for the EU Campus Reps ready, so you can see for yourself where this content will be.

Irina
Hi Irina, I think Coce has also done some work on this, let me check with him. Could you tell me, what your ETA for this website is?
Hi Irina,

apart from Kadirs question, there are two things I'd like to know:

* As far as I know, we currently have three files to translate: The Campus Reps guide, the FAQ and the survey home page. Is that all, or did we miss anything?
* What do we do with the files when we are done? Do we attach them to this bug, or send them to you?

Regards

Michael
Hello,

The web pages design will be ready at the end of this week and then we will start web development. So it would be great if the pages were ready in two weeks. If they are not, it's not a problem, we will add them when the are.

There are 5 files: home page, FAQ, Guide, signup and survey home page, registration survey. If you don't have them all please tell me and I'll attach them to this bug.

As far as the finished files are concerned, please attach them here.

Greetings,
Irina
Just a note that the content will be put up on mozilla.com. I'll provide the links as soon as they become available.

Greetings,
Irina
Hi Irina, we now have to translate the web pages for Fennec (Bug 522998). As we want to be sure to have these pages ready before the Fennec release, we have decided to give it priority.
I'm sorry about the delay this will cause to the Campus Reps localization.
Just to show a sign of life, I'm attaching a first translation of the Campus Reps Guide.
What remains to be done is the Registration Survey (long) and the Home Page (rather short).

Alright, and here's an initial translation for the homepage.
And here's a translation of the Campus Reps registration survey.
Which means, we can now start proofreading. ;-) I wonder, if it will take another five months. :D
Attached file Original files (obsolete) —
I'm uploading a zip file containing the original (English) text files.

Sorry, I forgot to add the FAQ.

Two of the patches I haven't been able to apply without errors:

The faq page
the survey home page

Could you attach working patches for them? Especially the Faq page which seems to have some content in common with the current site. Thanks
Mh, these two files have been created by Thomas, I'll ask him, if he can create a proper patch.
The original files from Irina were normal text files. So I added my translation after every English sentence or paragraph. These files are no "diffs". How can I make a diff from these files?
If you are in linux, you can use the diff command

You can also add it to a local svn repository (don't send to the server), like

svn add faq.txt ( the original English one)
replace the file by your translation
svn diff fa
oops, bad cliking, I hadn't finished typing :)

so the commands were:

svn add faq.txt ( the original English one)
replace the file by your translation
svn diff faq.txt > faq.diff

and then attach faq.diff to this file

If you are on Windows and use TortoiseSVN, there is an option in the context menu to generate a diff.
Sorry. Adding files to a local repository didn't work. So I made a zip archive with the English and German files of the faq page and survey home page and diffs of these files (no patches). Hope this helps.
Hi Pascal, might I ask you to have a look at these files? I'd like to start translating Student Reps, however, I wanted to wait for you, because that could mean less work for us, if you can reuse some of the text. ;-)
Since Campus Reps has been changed to Student Reps I think it's time to close this bug.

yeah, I wasn't able to find common strings between the older and newer sites unfortunately, sorry about that.
No problem, we were able to copy some strings manually, especially from the FAQ and the guide.
