The weave error icon is just far enough away from the rest of the weave stuff that it looks like a separate app.

I think the error exclamation icon should be miniaturized and overlayed over the actual weave icon so it's clear what add-on is having the problem.

Point taken, but unfortunately they do different things:

* The Weave icon opens the Weave menu
* The warning icon opens the notifications pop-up

Combining them would require a re-design.

Agree, so I think that makes this Future.

We don't have an error icon, we use different notifications, and we won't be layering this on the toolbar button.
