It would be useful if there was a new mail indicator for mailbox tabs -- something like the star burst indicator that Thunderbird adds to the Subject column.

When mailboxes are already open in tabs, users are not supplied with the visual feedback of opening boxes with filters, and this would make it abundantly clear where the incoming mail went.
