Right now the form has nowhere to paste about:support (coming in Firefox 3.6) in a way that will collapse on a new thread.

Why would we do this in 1.4.1 since the about:support page doesn't exist yet?
It will exist starting early-mid Nov, but in beta starting in two weeks. It's a fast release cycle and I'm worried any later milestones will miss this.

Two steps here: Phase one: update the text of AAQ to tell users to paste their troubleshooting info in the extensions box. (do this when 3.6b1 releases) Phase two: make a special box for the info that results in a collapsible section.

I'm a little confused here: if we have the data from about:support, do we need the Extensions data, or is it a replacement for the Extensions data?

In phase one from comment 4, this is just a string change. We'll change the label from "Installed extensions" to...? Any suggestions?

Some suggestions: * Troubleshooting info/information * Additional info/information * Additional details * Other info I think I may personally prefer Additional info, but I'd like to hear what others think. We need a link to instructions or find a way to squeeze it into the AAQ form itself (without making it look too busy). Instructions should explain: * How to get the "Troubleshooting Information" copy/paste * What kind of info we're looking for (e.g. extensions) if they DON'T want to use the copy/paste above.

"Additional info(rmation)?" and "Other info" are extremely vague and I think will prompt users to leave it blank or enter unrelated info. "Troubleshooting Information" makes it clear we want something specific, though not very clear what that is.
Troubleshooting information is what it's called in the menu, please lets be specific.

(In reply to comment #9) > Troubleshooting information is what it's called in the menu, please lets be > specific. I support matching the menu text.

Go for it. As long as we provide instructions for where/how to get this info..

Installed Extensions: If you're using the Firefox 3.6 beta, please post the information from *Help > Troublehsooting Information* here instead.

This is r53497. Just a string change, checked in IE 8, Firefox 3.5.3, Chrome on Windows XP and Firefox 3.5.3 on Fedora.

Just an unreviewed string change with a typo, you mean :-) (I'm really not this mean, just being playful!) "Troublehsooting Information"
