I do a lot of streaming from amazon s3 server which is quicktime h.264 codec. The problem is that large file, i.e. entire film vs a clip doesn't have video in a browser plug-in window, but only audio. If I play a clip (much smaller file) it plays fine. It plays fine as well on older versions on Firefox (video and audio). It plays fine even on EI for windows, and never a problem on Safari!

Emptying cache didn't solve the issue. It is a very serious problem as Firefox used to be my No. choice for streaming video and I made everybody switch to FFX but the latest release of FFX made it unusable for those purposes.

Also, please consider using the most recent Firefox 4 beta build, your bug may be resolved there.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
