When requesting AMO to show experimental themes when sorting by date, the sorting changes and the result is we don't see it as order-by:date. The following link will show you the problem; Please note that September '09 appear in the second row between two items from July. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/browse/type:2/cat:all?show=20&exp=on&sort=updated Removing the experimental view make the list appear as expected.

So.... sort=updated doesn't exist on this view. Davedash just added the view to one of the other searches, so I'm assigning to fix this too. While we're at it (and I can file another bug if you want) but sorting by date shows rating stars, and sorting by ratings doesn't work, but it also shows dates instead of stars. aaah
