Jolaine could give us the version of thunderbird and add an attachment so we can get an idea of how things are garbled ?

We don't do support here we deal with bugs ... > Thanks Sorry forgot that you could do something : rebuilt the sent folder index. Right click on the folder, choose properties and then click rebuild index. One of the things that might be happening is that your send folder is too big and as reach it's size limit - create a new folder called old-sent copy some messages into it that might help too.
