Right now, we inherit some keyboard shortcuts from Firefox while others from the desktop don't work.

While we shouldn't feel like we can't change the desktop shortcut scheme where it makes sense for us to do so, a fair amount of the benefit of these keys will come to people who have learned them on the desktop.  Letting them keep that learning is of value.

Here's a list of the current situation.

Works right now

ctrl-t -- opens a new tab
ctrl-w -- closes current tab
ctrl-l (L) -- activate location bar
ctrl-q -- quits the app
ctrl-left, backspace -- back
ctrl-right, shift-backspace -- forward


Only work sometimes, should always work

up - move up
down- move down
spacebar - pan you down a "page"


don't currently, but possibly should

ctrl-d, ctrl-b -- bookmark
    (or ctrl-b could bring up the list of all bookmarks)
ctrl-tap -- open in new background tab
ctrl-r -- reload
ctrl-up -- zoom in (on desktop it's ctrl-+, but that's too hard on n900)
ctrl-down -- zoom out (on desktop it's ctrl--, but that's too hard on n900)

the up and down keys, for moving the page, aren't particularly high priority, but having them move you between fields when editing a form is.
