VM's are not serving me well enough for proper windows/linux testing and development so I'd like a standalone desktop to work on for that. This spec comes highly recommended by dolske (from bug 514588) so it works for me, though I'd be looking for Windows 7 on it please. I'll also need an additional monitor for it.

Holler if I need to give approvals here or anything. I know this is coming right on the heels of a MBP request, but these are the first machines we've supplied for Dave - I think they each make sense.

Would a Mac mini work for this, or is the extra horsepower required for the type of testing you'll be doing?

Debugging on windows is pretty heavy on memory use if you want it to be responsive and my intention is to also be able to run multiple VMs on it at once in order to simplify cross platform testing of XULRunner and others. I think a mac mini simply isn't up to the load that I'd intend to put on this.

The spec we used for Dolske is no longer available. Can you take a look at the attached and let me know if that's ok? I asked our contact at DELL to try and get as close as he could price and performance wise.
