Hello,

Clicking on "pps" file url in Firefox. I don't get the standard dialog box:

----------------------------------------

What should Firefox do with this file?

[] Open with [application (default)]

[] Save to Disk

[] Do this automatically for files like this from now on.

Now when I click on an "pps" file url, the dialog box:
enter the name of file to save to.......

How can I get the dialog box back so I can choose:

[] Open with [application (default)]

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Clicking on "pps" file url
2.I don't get the standard dialog box: What should Firefox do with this file?
3.

Actual Results:
Now when I click on an "pps" file url, the dialog box:
enter the name of file to save to.......

Expected Results:
I won to have the option to choose:
[] Open with [application (default)]
[] Save to Disk
[] Do this automatically for files like this from now on.
when i click to download "pps"

I update Mozilla Firefox Whit Firefox 3.6
This is not affecting "wmv" files
You failed to provide an example URL.
Which mime-type does your server send for the file ?
submitted to early..
And you didn't select "save file" as action in the options for this file type ?

Hi matti, right is like from my emails whit attachment pps i click to open it and
whit out select "save file"
the dialog box: enter the name of file to save to...; pops up.
I hope i explained it good enough.
We need the headers that the server sends for the file (content-type) and you didn't answer the question if you selected in the Firefox options that one content-type should be saved instead of asking.
I have resolved my problem.
Under: Tools/Options/Applications and at Content Type Found
"Microsoft Power Point(pps)".
Thanks a lot.
