The performance of gmail in standard view mode is quite poor on the winCE tegra devices.   Loading up an email takes up to 1.5 - 3 minutes.  connected via wifi.  need to load in basic HTML mode for a usable experience.

Was flash disabled? I was able to login and use Gmail just fine when I checked last week.
yeah, flash disabled; no addons installed.  only 1 tab open also. lightweight personas installed.   make sure you completely log out of gmail and then log back in
I login to Gmail just about every day, and I notice it takes a very long time to log in on this device.
