User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-GB; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5
Build Identifier: Lightning 0.9 (build 2008091719)

I want to create an event that repeats weekly, but only lasts for 4 weeks. From what I can see in Thunderbird with the Lightning add-on, I can create a weekly recurring event that never ends, or I can create one gigantic event that runs today to 4 weeks from now, non-stop.

I have seen references online to a "Custom" option for repeating events that I am assuming is available in Sunbird which supposedly allows you to change infinitely repeating events to events with a controlled number of repetitions.

I have looked everywhere, and cannot see an equivalent option for Lightning.

For example, create an event that runs Sundays from 1:00PM - 2:00PM , starting November 1st, and repeating until Sunday, November 22nd
Sunday Nov. 1st - 13:00-14:00
Sunday Nov. 8th - 13:00-14:00
Sunday Nov. 15th - 13:00-14:00
Sunday Nov. 22nd - 13:00-14:00

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create an event on November 1st(Sunday) running from 13:00-14:00
2. Set the Repeat to "Weekly"
3.
Actual Results:
Infintely-repeating event is created (every Sunday from Nov. 1st on) running from 13:00-14:00, and no option to restrict the number of repetitions.

Expected Results:
I would expect when choosing a "Repeat" option, to be presented with an "Until" option and/or a "Number of occurrences" option (consider Google Calendar for an example).
"Custom..." is the last entry in the "Repeat" dropdown menu.
Apologies - didn't see that last entry. Thanks for pointing that out.
On a usability note, it seems that the "Custom" dialog is sufficient for creating any repeating event - the other repeat categories feel a little redundant.

Functionality is there, though, so I'm satisfied. Thanks for the quick response.
