52849 - Adding a New Account Using the Edit->Mail/Account Preferences Adds Account to Database But Then Doesn't Appear in Window

Adding an accounto to the database appears to add the details BUT:

* Mail doesn't function and the display doesn't change; i.e. no new account
appears on the main account manager window
* Adding an account of the same name receives the error that an account of the
same name already exists; or alternatively
* Adding an account of a different name but same server says that a record
already exists

[incidentally, I'm attempting to add POP3 accounts]



Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Add an account
2.[keep on adding accounts to your heart's desire; none of them appear]
3.Add same account again

Actual Results:  Already described above....

Expected Results:  get message should function, account should appear in the
manager etc etc

We add multiple accounts all the time here in the QA mail/news group.  Reporter,
please let us know if you are still seeing this.  If so, I will need more
information about your steps.
